Clinical Affairs Specialist

- As a key member of our Medical Affairs division, you will serve as the primary contact for all medical and scientific inquiries related to our dermatological product range.
- You will regularly manage the Medical Information Hotline, providing guidance to patients, healthcare professionals, and pharmacies regarding medication efficacy and potential side effects.
- Your role includes monitoring and analyzing current publications and therapeutic trends within the relevant indication area.
- You will establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in dermatology.
- Participation in national and international conferences and symposia will be part of your responsibilities.
- You will prepare scientific information tailored to specific audiences and present it to both internal and external stakeholders, nationally and internationally.
- Your involvement will extend to the design and organization of medically scientific projects conducted in collaboration with external experts, such as advisory boards and research initiatives.
- You will support the Sales & Marketing department with medically scientific information, aiding in the development of new strategies and promotional materials, while ensuring the accuracy of claims in marketing documents.
- Your expertise will make you a valuable resource for colleagues in Regulatory Affairs, Medical Device, and Pharmacovigilance, assisting in the preparation of regulatory documents.
- A completed medical, pharmaceutical, or natural sciences degree, ideally with a doctorate.
- Several years of experience as a Medical Advisor, Medical Affairs Manager, or MSL Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably within dermatology.
- A strong commitment to performance and motivation, along with a self-directed, reliable, structured, and quality-oriented work style.
- The willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
- A collaborative spirit and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient command of both German and English, spoken and written.

Biofrontera AG is a mid-sized, publicly traded specialty pharmaceutical company focused on dermatology, dedicated to the development and distribution of innovative medications for photodynamic therapy and medical cosmetics. With centralized European and US approvals, we market our products globally with a team of approximately 100 employees. Our flagship product, Ameluz, is a prescription medication for the treatment of non-melanoma skin cancer and its precursors. The application of our medication is facilitated through our medical devices, BF-RhodoLED and BF-RhodoLED XL (red light LED devices). The BF-RhodoLED has been certified in the EU since 2012, and BF-RhodoLED-US has been approved as a combination product in the USA since 2016. Both medical devices are assembled in our own production facilities.
