We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Strategic Communications Director to shape the future voice and visibility of Project A Ventures and our portfolio companies.
This key role will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive communications strategy, elevating Project A's brand presence, and providing strategic support to our portfolio companies.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a global PR and communications strategy to enhance brand awareness and generate excitement for Project A Ventures.
- Drive and execute the strategy and communications plans, and be accountable for the results.
- Identify and build on opportunities to elevate our brand and funds externally, including the personal brands of our investment team and partners.
- Secure and organize top-tier media coverage and speaking engagements at key industry events and conferences.
- Work across a broad range of stakeholder groups, including portfolio companies, the media, as well as internal audiences, such as the investment team and partners.
- Develop high-quality, engaging content that showcases in-depth industry knowledge and thought leadership.
- Act as the primary international communications contact for Project A Ventures, ensuring effective message delivery to diverse audiences, including investors, partners, and the media.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in communications in fast-paced startup, scale-up, or VC environments with additional experience as a tech journalist or in a PR agency.
- Balancing both strategy and execution, you seamlessly navigate breadth and depth while thriving as an individual contributor.
- You demonstrate a strong track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies with measurable results.
- An outgoing self-starter who is well-connected within the startup ecosystem and relevant media outlets.
- You move the needle and have a growth hacker mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and gravitas to effectively manage senior stakeholders and drive the communications agenda.
- Proactive and autonomous approach to work; both open-minded and quick to adjust to new challenges and changes.
