CAT III Fulani Linguist

Torden LLC is seeking a highly skilled CAT III Fulani linguist to provide expert language support services to our intelligence operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to process Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpretation and transcription of Fulani language
- Translation from Fulani to English and vice versa (ILR Level 3)
- Working proficiency in English (ILR Level 3)
- Accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation of complex materials
- Proficient typing and computer skills
- Ability to work quickly and effectively in a team environment
- Understanding of standard Fulani dialect and broad vocabulary
- Accurate interpretation of conversations between educated native speakers
- Ability to understand radio broadcasts, news stories, and oral reports
Security Requirements:
- Active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI access
- Pass a U.S. Government Counterintelligence (CI) screening and polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
Requirements:
- Interpretation and transcription proficiency in Fulani
- Interpretation to/from target language dialect and English (ILR Level 3)
- Working proficiency in English (ILR Level 3)
- Demonstrated ability to conduct accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation
- Must have typing and computer skills
- Must be able to think quickly and work in a professional atmosphere as part of a team
- Ability to understand the essentials of all speech in a standard dialect and have broad vocabulary to rarely require assistance for paraphrasing or explanation.
- Ability to follow accurately the essentials of conversations between educated native speakers
- Ability to understand radio broadcasts, news stories similar to wire service reports, oral reports, some oral technical reports, and public addresses on non-technical subjects.
