Torden LLC is seeking a qualified CAT III Hausa Linguist to provide linguist support services to intelligence operations.
Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) data in real-time, working in a 24/7 environment. As a CAT III Hausa linguist, you will be interpreting and transcribing data from Hausa to English and vice versa, with a focus on accuracy and speed.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpretation and transcription of SIGINT data in Hausa and English
  • Working in a 24/7 environment, with rotating shifts as needed
  • Collaboration with a team of linguists to achieve mission objectives
  • Adherence to Government requirements and security protocols
  • Residency overseas at Clay Kaserne, Germany

Requirements:
  • ILR Level 3 proficiency in Hausa interpretation and transcription
  • ILR Level 3 working proficiency in English
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation
  • Typing and computer skills
  • Ability to think quickly and work in a professional atmosphere as part of a team
  • Ability to understand the essentials of all speech in a standard dialect and have broad vocabulary to rarely require assistance for paraphrasing or explanation
  • Ability to follow accurately the essentials of conversations between educated native speakers
  • Ability to understand radio broadcasts, news stories similar to wire service reports, oral reports, some oral technical reports, and public addresses on non-technical subjects

Security Requirements:
  • Active TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI access
  • U.S. Citizenship

Priority will be given to applicants with active security clearances, recent CI interviews, and current polygraphs.
