About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Foundry Runtime & Core Team Developer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining the corresponding services running in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deploy services for Cloud Foundry landscapes of SAP Business Technology Platform
  • Maintain the stability and reliability of the BTP Cloud Foundry Platform
  • Contribute to open-source projects of the Cloud Foundry Foundation
  • Collaborate with teams worldwide within the company and the Cloud Foundry community
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
  • Good knowledge in Python, Golang, or Ruby
  • Familiarity with agile methods, test-driven development, continuous integration, and pair programming
  • Experience with BASH, HTTP, and SQL
  • Preferably cloud development or distributed systems experience and Cloud Platforms, eg SAP BTP, AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud
  • Very good English language skills (verbal and written), German skills are a plus
  • Knowledge on Test framework, eg RSpec, Ginkgo, JUnit/Mockito and continuous integration tools like Jenkins or Concourse is a plus
  • Minumim of 3+ years of relevant work experience
