About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Application Engineer. As a key member of our Business Unit Electrical Products, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop power distribution designs and solutions in accordance with customer/project needs
  • Support international sales regions, project teams, and customers for the development and implementation of power distribution solutions based on the Siemens Electrical Products portfolio
  • Resolve complex technical challenges and act as one escalation point for major technical issues in sales regions
  • Set up technical collateral such as use cases, application examples, and templates for reuse by others
  • Create and present technical presentations at customers and conferences to foster knowledge transfer
  • Provide guidance, share knowledge, and educate team members with your extensive expertise
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Many years of professional experience in Power Distribution and Electrical Engineering
  • Knowledge of Siemens SIMARIS Software Tools and E-CAD software, e.g., EPLAN P8 electrical
  • Advanced knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM)
  • Knowledge in multiple Power Distribution areas, such as cyber security, sustainability, energy efficiency, and power monitoring
  • Advanced experience in the Electrical Planner and EPC industry and market, with broad experience in interaction with customers, suppliers, and other internal and external partners
  • Results-oriented and enjoy working hard, motivated to drive challenging projects in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans to meet the requirements of a constantly evolving future
  • Dedicated and pursue goals with perseverance, resilient to setbacks, and able to persuade counterparts
  • Business fluent in English and conversational in German, further languages a plus
