Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Academic Research Fellow in Democracy Education to join our dynamic team at the Teacher Education Centre. As a key member of our project, you will play a crucial role in developing open educational resources (OER) based on game-based learning principles.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing OER that promote democracy education and foster resilience and political self-efficacy in democracies;
- Collaborating with European teachers to establish a Community of Practice and develop shared resources;
- Fostering connections within the EU project TaCT-FoRSED and contributing to project partners' work packages;
- Supporting the Teacher Education Centre's Teaching Innovation Department in its work and collaborating on OER projects.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A master's degree in a relevant field, such as political education, educational science, psychology, or a related discipline;
- Excellent knowledge of game-based learning principles and open educational resource development;
- Experience in designing teaching and learning processes with digital media;
- Qualitative and quantitative empirical research methods;
- A doctorate in a relevant field is desirable.
