Lead SAP BASIS Solution Architect

At PHOENIX International Holdings GmbH, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead SAP BASIS Solution Architect to join our PHOENIX Competence Centre IT & Digital team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading pharmaceutical retailer in Germany and the best integrated healthcare provider in Europe.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement SAP system architecture, collaborating with infrastructure and BASIS teams to ensure optimal system performance and health.
  • Develop and maintain SAP archiving processes, incorporating IBM Content Manager or similar systems, to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of SAP BASIS administrators, mentoring and guiding team members in best practices and effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Oversee and perform all aspects of SAP BASIS administration, including system installations, upgrades, configurations, and patch management.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into SAP technical solutions, communicating technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
Your Profile
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or architectural role.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of SAP BASIS, including SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, SAP Solution Manager, and other SAP components.
  • Certifications: SAP BASIS certification or other relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven experience in leading teams and managing projects, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
