About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Cloud Developer to join our team at msg global solutions. As a Backend Cloud Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and secure server-side applications using modern technologies such as NestJS, TypeORM, and Jest.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Optimize backend performance, ensure data integrity, and troubleshoot issues to maintain a high level of quality.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices, participating in code reviews and contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Drive the backend architecture of our modern solutions, working closely with the development team to ensure alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience in NestJS and TypeORM.
  • Commercial experience in web development, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Express.js.
  • Experience with popular public cloud services, such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with relational databases and ORMs.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Independent individual with a focus on delivering high-quality results.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Jest and other testing libraries.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud Platform (SAP BTP), Cloud Foundry, and K8S.
  • Knowledge of OData and its applications.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines setup and management.
  • Knowledge of design patterns and best practices.
