**About the Role**

At Lonza, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join our team as the HR Site Head in Cologne. As a key member of our Site Leadership team, you will be responsible for driving consistency in all people-related topics and human resources practices across the site.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide business support on all HR-related topics to the site and leadership team, with a focus on coaching, facilitation, employee development, performance management, succession planning, and policy recommendations.
  • Work closely with managers to develop and understand staffing requirements and human resources plans.
  • Independently manage senior-level projects or problems involving HR, including employee relations issues and investigations.
  • Develop and deliver training in key areas of HR responsibility, such as anti-harassment training, interview training, and supervisory training.
  • Collaborate with the site head to meet with the local works council on a regular basis.
  • Support administrative tasks and provide guidance to other team members.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge in German labor law, market, and dealing with works councils.
  • Experience in payroll and with service centers.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Working in a multinational, matrixed organization is a plus.
