Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Application Specialist to join our team at Jobactive GmbH. As an IT Application Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with standards, good cyber security practices, and local regulation. You will also contribute to the Global IT Shared Services Delivery strategy and be responsible for the service delivery of local and Global Platforms - Application Layer areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with standards, good cyber security practices, and local regulation.
  • Actively contribute to the Global IT Shared Services Delivery strategy.
  • Responsible for the service delivery of local and Global Platforms - Application Layer areas.
  • Provide support for local and Global Platforms.
  • Implement and extend company tools and inspire their use within the business environment.
  • Proactively identify improvement areas and provide user training on how to leverage platforms.
  • Interact with and constructively challenge users and stakeholders.
  • Deliver quality configuration and development work relating to IT systems in scope.

Requirements:

  • Engineer or university equivalent (bachelor's degree) in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT business landscape, especially in the field of ERP / CRM (Sage, MS Dynamics, S/4Hana).
  • Good experience in database, SQL queries, business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Power App.
  • Ability to gain understanding of business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope.
  • Experience managing external suppliers and IT vendors.
  • Knowledge of the life sciences industry preferably.
  • Fluent English and very good command in the German language.
