Tax Working Student

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Finance & Controlling department's Tax team in Munich and Düsseldorf. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support for various activities, including wage tax and global mobility tax.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Working Student, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Wage Tax team with flat-rate income tax payments for benefits in kind per § 37b and § 40 of German income tax law.
  • Assisting with monthly taxation, requesting and filing event documents, and maintaining Excel lists.
  • Managing the SharePoint filing system, reviewing event costs, and acting as a point of contact for any questions from the shared e-mail inbox.
  • Performing various administrative tasks and updating policies.
  • Supporting the Global Mobility Tax Team in Düsseldorf with compliance, reporting requirements, and process optimizations.
REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An independent, structured, and service-oriented work style.
  • Flexibility, dedication, friendliness, and professionalism.
  • Enrollment as a student, majoring in economics.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office package, especially Excel, and ability to work efficiently with Windows 10.
  • Good written and spoken English and excellent German language skills.
TEAM AND ENVIRONMENT

You will be part of the G&A Finance Team, which totals more than 50 members. Locally, you will work with seven experienced colleagues.
