Feniska, a Berlin-based startup, is revolutionizing the pet health industry with innovative IoT products. Our flagship product, the Feniska Base, uses data tracking to monitor essential health metrics in cats. The Feniska app delivers daily updates and actionable insights to help pet owners proactively manage their cats' health.

We seek a highly skilled Senior AI and Analytics Developer who excels in Python, machine learning, data engineering, and analytics. Proficiency in relevant libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) is essential. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who approaches challenges analytically and creatively, delivering measurable results. Strong team collaboration skills are necessary as you'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and veterinary experts.

This role plays a pivotal part in driving innovation, refining data annotation processes, developing predictive models, and incorporating generative AI to enhance our health monitoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior AI and Analytics Developer will lead the design and implementation of machine learning models to predict health issues using diverse datasets for comprehensive insights. Key responsibilities include:

  • Machine Learning Development: Lead the development of machine learning models to predict health issues using diverse datasets.
  • Customer Data Review and Analysis: Perform regular review and analysis of customer data to extract insights, identify trends, and ensure data quality for improved decision-making and product refinement.
  • Generative AI Applications: Develop and refine generative AI models and prompt engineering strategies to enhance user interactions, health recommendations, and automated insights.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with our product team and veterinary experts to integrate predictive analytics and GenAI-based solutions into our offerings.
  • Feature Development: Drive the creation of new data-driven features and capabilities from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring impactful user experiences.
  • Data Annotation and Quality: Innovate and enhance data annotation processes to improve the quality and utility of data for model training and analysis.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python and relevant data science libraries, experience extracting insights and features from large datasets, optimizing predictive model accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Desirable Experience: Prior experience working with IoT devices and health data, knowledge of computer vision techniques and libraries to analyze pet behaviors and health metrics, experience deploying machine learning models in production environments.
