We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team at Skeleton Technologies. As a key member of our Scale-Up team, you will play a crucial role in implementing and supporting the latest automation technologies for our future plant.
Key Responsibilities- Automation Environment Setup: Prepare the automation environment in accordance with our group strategy and standards.
- System Development and Improvement: Develop and improve existing systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- System Maintenance and Operation: Maintain and operate automation systems, as well as support integration efforts.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various departments to develop automation and process solutions.
- Commissioning and Troubleshooting: Support commissioning during the startup phase of new systems and troubleshoot issues with existing systems.
- Analysis and Problem-Solving: Conduct analyses to identify and resolve system malfunctions, quality issues, and process problems.
- Bottleneck Analysis and Automation: Analyze and eliminate bottlenecks in production, with a focus on partial or full automation.
- Technology Implementation: Implement and support the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies for future plant automation.
- Supplier Communication: Communicate with suppliers according to our group automation standards.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot equipment issues.
- System Monitoring and Data Analysis: Monitor systems and analyze data from automation equipment.
- Project Ownership: Take ownership of specific work packages for automation projects.
- Automation Solution Development: Develop automation solutions according to group standards with machine suppliers.
- Education: Successfully completed studies as an Engineer or Technician in the field of automation, electrical engineering, information technology, mechatronics, or equivalent education.
- Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in a production environment, with a focus on special machine construction, automotive industry, or planning of automation solutions.
- Automation Expertise: Experience in partial and full automation of manufacturing processes.
- Programming Skills: Good experience in programming (PLC, HMI, robotics) - ideal: TIA Portal, WinCC, C#, C++, Scout, Fanuc, Yaskawa.
- MES and Industrial Network Experience: Experience with MES applications and industrialized networks, as well as IT/OT area, is desirable.
- Project Success and Leadership: Demonstrate success in the given field of activity and have already implemented projects.
- Leadership and Communication: Structured working style, project-focused, on-time, on-budget, dynamic, flexible, and excellent communication skills.
- Language Skills: Fluent German and English language skills.
