About the Role
Skeleton Technologies is a leading company in high-power energy storage solutions, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Automation Engineer to join our team.
As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting state-of-the-art technologies for future plant automation. Your tasks will include preparing automation environments, developing and improving existing systems, maintaining automation systems, and cooperating with various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare automation environments according to group strategy and standards.
- Develop and improve existing systems.
- Maintain automation systems and operate them.
- Close cooperation with all departments in terms of automation and process development.
- Support commissioning during the startup phase of new systems and machinery.
- Analyze system malfunctions, quality, or process problems.
- Eliminate bottlenecks in production with partial or full automation.
- Implement and support state-of-the-art technologies for future plant automation.
- Communicate with suppliers according to group automation standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment.
- Monitor systems and analyze data from automation equipment.
- Own specific work packages for automation projects.
- Develop automation solutions according to group standards with machine suppliers.
Requirements
We're looking for a candidate with a degree in engineering or a related field and 2-5 years of experience in a production environment. You should have experience in partial and full automation of manufacturing processes, good programming skills, and experience with MES applications and industrial networks.
