Job Title: HVDC Commissioning Specialist

We are Quest Global, a global engineering services company that delivers end-to-end global product engineering services. We are seeking an experienced HVDC Commissioning Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning of HVDC systems, including offsite testing and onsite commissioning
  • Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of instrument transformers and measuring devices
  • Installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of power distribution systems and switchgears
  • Knowledge of substation C&P, control, protection, interfacing, interlocking, and signalling
  • Knowledge of primary/secondary test equipment and communication standards/systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems
  • 3-5 years of experience in electrical power distribution system C&P and AC protection system
  • Experience in electrical power engineering/systems and/or automation technology
Methodical Competence/Certificates:
  • Able to work independently on a HV substation
  • Coordination and monitoring of schedule and progress for own work area
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work Procedure, Lock-Out Tag-Out, and Job Hazard Safety Assessment
  • Quality management, change/claim management, and project progress reporting
