**Job Summary**

We are seeking a Senior Medical Affairs Manager for Pulmonology to join our team. As a Medical Manager, the main purpose of your role will be to build partnerships with external healthcare professionals, communicate evidence-based critical scientific, technical, and development issues relating to Grifols' biopharma products, and develop and execute medical affairs plans in alignment with business objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and execute medical affairs plans in alignment with business objectives in DACH countries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with scientific thought leaders in DACH countries.
  • Manage scientific events such as advisory boards, symposia, or standalone meetings.
  • Manage initiatives and requests related to Grifols' research programs, such as ISRs, awards, grants, and Ph IV studies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders, writing summaries as needed.
  • Collect and analyze competitor medical/scientific information from different sources/departments and communicate to the appropriate internal functions and departments.
  • Attend national and international medical conferences on the respective disease areas and provide reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide medical content for medical education programs for clinicians externally and for internal customers through the training department.
  • Contribute to scientific publications generated from Grifols' projects or studies (including abstract writing or revision of manuscripts).
  • Provide scientific responses to enquiries by internal and external customers and support the Medical Information department on the elaboration of SRL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the SIO and Commercial Department, participating in different working groups as needed.
  • Provide medical input in the development of value dossiers or other materials requested for reimbursement/market access support.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the medical content of marketing materials, being the medical function in the sign-off process of promotional materials.
  • Attend periodic team meetings on TA updates and strategy alignment.
  • Manage budget and ensure compliance with Grifols' processes and regulations.

**Requirements**

  • You have a University Degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or Medicine. A PhD, MD, or PharmD with advanced knowledge in the respective scientific field is preferred.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position in the pharma industry.
  • You have knowledge of medical/pharmaceutical basics with highest ethical standards.
  • You have a scientific understanding (literature, clinical, and basic research).
  • You have advanced communication and relation-building skills.
  • You have a willingness to travel.
