Safran Engineering Services is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in the aviation industry. As a Junior Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing mechanical components on aircraft systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and documentation to ensure accurate installation and repair of mechanical components.
- Perform functional tests and adjustments on aircraft systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Apply sealants and surface protection to prevent corrosion and damage.
- Diagnose mechanical or electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to achieve project goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- Basic aviation/mechanical education and practical training required.
- Good English skills, German would be an advantage.
- Team-player in an international team.
- Willingness to work in shifts at the Airbus plant in Hamburg.
