We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Controlling Team Lead to join our dynamic team at AUTO1 Group. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing the cost of logistics spending and leading the coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost control strategies to optimize logistics spending
- Lead a multinational team of ~10 people, providing guidance and coaching to ensure successful team performance
- Design and implement KPIs to measure business health and track performance closely
- Manage the performance of cost controlling processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders, managing expectations and driving results
- Collaborate with Business Analysis, Business Engineering, Product, and Tech teams to implement tools and drive efficiency
- Manage mini-projects to continuously improve the controlling function
Requirements:
- At least 6+ years of relevant work experience in logistics, supply chain, business, economics, finance, or a related field
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
- Experience in accounting, cost control, automotive logistics, or transportation is a plus
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team
- Proven ability to take ownership of tasks, learn quickly, and drive improvements
- Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on proactive and transparent communication
- Attention to detail, with a willingness to learn Auto1's internal processes and tools
- Experience managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining budget discipline
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into understandable insights
- Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in additional European languages a plus
