We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Peter Park. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing our backend infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation of our car parking systems.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop our backend infrastructure using Python and NestJS
  • Implement and optimize our CI pipelines for backend and IoT deployments
  • Improve our monitoring system using Datadog
  • Assist in scaling up our systems for managing thousands of parking lots
  • Contribute to the improvement of our engineering culture by employing modern software engineering practices

Your Expertise:

  • Strong experience in real production projects with high throughput
  • Proficient in backend frameworks such as NestJS, Flask, Fastify, FastAPI
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills (level C1)

Our Technologies:

  • Event-driven backend development in Python and NestJS
  • Frontend monorepo with Turbo, pnpm, changesets, and storybook
  • Adoption of TypeScript, NestJS, BullMQ, and Prisma for backends
  • Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, S3
  • Container orchestration with Kubernetes and CI/CD using GitLab
