BASF Digital Solutions GmbH is seeking a talented Engineering Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our product family, you will be responsible for managing the engineering tool landscape of BASF.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide lifecycle support for engineering tools
  • Administer Client-/Server-/Database Systems, including installation, configuration, and operation of complex IT tool landscapes
  • Evaluate new release versions and ensure seamless integration
  • Size infrastructure requirements and request server- and storage-infrastructure accordingly
  • Setup, update, and configure tools, as well as troubleshoot server and client infrastructure
  • Manage roles and rights administration
  • Ensure quality control and documentation
Requirements
  • IT education with system integration focus, bachelor's degree in business IT, computer science, or equivalent education or working experience
  • Good knowledge of Windows Client- and Server Operating System and respective Client-/Server application landscape
  • Knowledge of Active Directory structures, Group Policy, Roles, and Rights management
  • Database administration skills (MS SQL, Oracle)
  • Scripting and modification of scripts (with VBScript, PowerShell)
  • Good German and English language skills
