Job Description

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for leading the procurement strategy for our projects, ensuring that we achieve our quality, cost, and delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Procurement Strategy
    • Define and implement the project procurement strategy in full respect of quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments
    • Ensure that the procurement strategy is shared, understood, and applied by the procurement teams and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and Consolidate Sourcing Activities
    • Manage buyers working on the project to ensure proper contribution to the project QCD
    • Organize procurement launch meetings involving project managers, stakeholders, and procurement teams
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop corrective measures to ensure project success
  • Master the Material Work Package
    • Build and manage the project's material work package, including costs, risks, and ambitions
    • Develop and implement improvement plans with sub-system and component teams
    • Validate deviations and ensure compliance with project objectives
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement project management, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supply chain optimization
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, including contract management and supplier relationship management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
