Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Index Engineer Intern to join our team. As an Index Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for reviewing free float for various securities, tracking corporate events, and maintaining existing data feeds. You will work closely with internal and external parties to enhance our data feeds and ensure the highest quality of our data.
Your Responsibilities- Reviewing free float for various securities, including collecting information on shareholding structure, analyzing shareholder types, and calculating free float factors.
- Tracking corporate events and reviewing their impact on free float.
- Maintaining existing data feeds and working with internal and external parties to enhance them.
- Quality assessment of data as per product and index review schedules.
- Enrolled student in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in capital markets and a solid understanding of financial data.
- Proficient in MS-Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
