About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amazon Deutschland W29 Transport GmbH - L07 in Weiterstadt. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on our forklifts, conveyor systems, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures to prevent equipment failures.
- Collaborate with our technical team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our maintenance processes and procedures.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
- At least two years of experience in a maintenance or technical role.
- Proven experience in preventive maintenance and repair of forklifts, conveyor systems, or other equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of production-related equipment and systems.
- Experience with barcode scanners and other technical equipment.
- Experience with printing and application machines.
- Proficiency in English.
