Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Intern/Work Student to join our team at TeamViewer. As a key member of our Software Quality Assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and automated testing activities to identify and report defects in our software products.
- Work with epics, user-stories, and bugs to ensure that our software meets the required quality standards.
- Maintain and evolve test-codes to ensure that our software is thoroughly tested and reliable.
- Develop and extend test automation on the basis of Python, C#, and TypeScript/JavaScript to improve our testing efficiency.
- Support the further development of new features and work on reproducing errors, analyzing, and narrowing down causes of errors.
- Collaborate with our Agile Engineering Team to ensure that our software meets the required quality standards.
Requirements
- Enrolled student at a university or college in the field of computer science, IT, software engineering, or any other related field.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in German is a plus.
- First-hand experience with Linux is essential, and experience with other operating systems is a plus.
- First-hand programming experience is required.
- Theoretical knowledge in the field of Automated Software Testing and Quality Assurance is a must.
- Curiosity about learning perspectives and ability to identify and highlight areas of need.
- High sense of responsibility paired with strong social and communication skills as well as the ability to work within a team and/or independently.
