Software Quality Assurance Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Software Quality Assurance team as an intern. As a Software Quality Assurance Intern, you will be responsible for assisting our team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in manual and automated testing activities, including testing epics, user-stories, and bugs.
  • Maintain and evolve test codes, and work on manually and/or exploratory testing.
  • Work with builds and tests in a Continuous Integration environment (Jenkins) to keep the build green.
  • Develop and extend test automation on the basis of Python, C#, and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Support the further development of new features and work on reproducing errors, analyzing, and narrowing down causes of errors.
  • Be part of an Agile Engineering Team and work independently on projects, getting supported by experienced software developers.
Requirements:
  • Enrolled student at a university or college in the field of computer science, IT, software engineering, or any other related field.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; further languages such as German are a plus.
  • First experience of Linux is essential; further operating systems are a plus.
  • First-hand programming experience is required.
  • Theoretical knowledge in the field of Automated Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
  • Curiosity about learning perspectives and ability to identify and highlight areas of need.
  • High sense of responsibility paired with strong social and communication skills, as well as the ability to work within a team and/or independently.
