About the Role

Sicoya GmbH is a leading technology company in silicon photonics based interconnect solutions with headquarters in Berlin, Germany. We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Test Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation optical transceivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, verify, and implement volume production test processes in the semiconductor and electro-optical industry.
  • Plan and monitor the status and progress of performed actions independently.
  • Automate test procedures and integrate processes in the production line, optimizing the volume production flow.
  • Install appropriate test setups, perform GR&R analysis, and conduct test measurements.
  • Analyze failure modes, review related information, and evaluate countermeasures.
  • Document process development progress, create work instructions, and train other engineers and operators.
  • Optimize cycle times for test processes.
  • Organize and supervise test procedure and equipment transfer, including release procedures to other facilities.
  • Establish technical contact with suppliers, partners at other facilities, and technology partners.
Requirements
  • A versatile engineer with a profound background in optic and electronic testing, preferably with experience in the semiconductor, electronic, or optical industry.
  • At least 3 years of experience in industrial environments.
  • Profound knowledge in RF testing.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • A team player who thrives in a dynamic working environment.
  • Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of German is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel.
