E-commerce Engineering Manager Position

SalaryWe offer an estimated salary of €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience, taking into account the location in Germany.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will work as an Engineering Manager in our development team, collaborating in cross-functional teams to enrich the lives of our customers. The main responsibility will be building, developing, and enabling high-performing teams who build awesome products. As an Engineering Manager, you will initially focus on hands-on technical tasks like an individual contributor, gaining a deep understanding of our infrastructure and systems.
This approach enables you to understand the technical challenges your team encounters deeply, setting you and the team up for future wins. You will help our engineers grow personally and professionally, advancing their skills and inspiring them through purpose. You will make sure that we leverage (new) technology within our product teams to build products customers love and work for the business.
Required Skills and Qualifications- You have worked in cross-functional product teams and bring a vast experience in engineering of scalable web applications.
- You are an experienced Engineering Manager used to solving engineering problems with the tools & frameworks that make sense both for the problem domain and the engineering organization.
- You possess an outstanding sense of ownership, passion, and drive which brings energy to the room.
- Your communication skills are on point, and you know what matters, especially in a remote setup.
