About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at SIMPLEX Recruitment. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers in the DACH region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the DACH region, leveraging your expertise in high-performance compounds and technical sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional customer service and support to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest products and technologies in the high-performance compounds market, and use this knowledge to advise customers on the best solutions for their needs.
  • Project Management: Manage customer projects from initial contact through to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the DACH region, and provide insights to inform business development strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Completed studies in plastics technology or a related field, or equivalent experience in the plastics industry.
  • Experience: Proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the high-performance compounds market.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. Strong commercial and technical expertise, with a focus on delivering results-driven solutions.
  • Language: Fluency in German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
