Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Disposition Specialist to join our team at Dachser SE in Erfurt. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the disposition of shipments and collections within our region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the disposition of shipments and collections in accordance with legal requirements, economic utilization, and customer and network demands.
  • Monitor and respond to deviations, ensuring that our quality targets for delivery and collection are met.
  • Receive and coordinate customer orders using our Abholdispositions-Tool.
  • Ensure compliance with ADR regulations for hazardous goods transport.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and drivers, maintaining close communication with colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Completed education in logistics or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven market and transport knowledge, geographical awareness, and understanding of driving and rest times.
  • Desirable: prior experience in disposition at a logistics company.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • High level of self-motivation, assertiveness, and communication skills.
