Business Risk Management Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Risk Management Intern to join our team at Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG, succursale de Luxembourg. As a key member of our Business Risk team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our asset management activities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular reviews of counterparty risk exposure from an asset management perspective.
- Assist in preparing and executing risk & control self-assessments (RCSA) and control testing across all Pictet AM departments.
- Provide business risk management expertise in responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and other similar requests.
- Prepare documentation for due diligence with external financial counterparties.
- Support the drafting of business risk-related reports for various committees.
- Maintain the Governance, Risk and Compliance tool (GRC) and update the risk events dashboard.
- Manage risk events related to data protection leakage and support the team for other risk events.
- Prepare and send monthly compliance reports to clients.
- Coordinate the new instrument approval process (NIAP) and centralise answers, follow up on questions, and prepare documentation.
- Assist Business Risk team members from Luxembourg.
- Contribute to Pictet AM Business Risk initiatives and thematic reviews as required.
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience or keen interest in the world of asset management, acquired through internships and/or academic projects.
- Skilled user of standard office IT software, including the MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of Python, Tableau, and VBA programming and AI tools is an advantage.
- Fluency in English and French, written and spoken.
