About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician Field to join our team at Wärtsilä. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on electrotechnical and electrical assemblies and devices in the field of marine electrical engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on electrotechnical and electrical assemblies and devices in the field of marine electrical engineering.
- Work flexibly on smaller tasks for short periods on board a ship at the respective berth or for larger shipyard berth times over a longer period on site at a shipyard in the entire North German region.
Requirements
- Completed vocational qualification in the electrotechnical field.
- In-depth knowledge in the field of marine electrical engineering is desirable.
- Ability to work in a team as well as a secure and friendly appearance with the customer.
- High willingness to travel.
- Desire to familiarize yourself with new and complex topics.
- Fluent German language skills (min. B2).
