About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team at Alexander Thamm GmbH. As a key member of our Regulatory Affairs team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks for data and artificial intelligence in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory developments in the area of data and AI in the financial sector and ensure the company's compliance with these regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to interpret and implement regulatory changes for AI initiatives, enhancing customer trust.
  • Guide technical teams in the development and implementation of AI algorithms and models.
  • Translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications to ensure seamless integration and address customer-specific needs.
  • Conduct risk analyses and implement corrective measures to maintain and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Stay informed about regulatory developments related to AI in the banking and insurance sectors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs with a focus on AI in the financial services sector.
  • Deep knowledge of AI regulations and best practices in the banking and insurance industry.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with engineering and data science teams on AI initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate technical aspects of AI systems and translate regulatory requirements while aligning with customer goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex regulatory and technical concepts to customers.
  • Ability to lead initiatives to maintain compliance in a dynamic environment while strengthening customer relationships.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and their operationalization.
  • Excellent English and German language skills, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to set realistic deadlines and maintain them, high organization, and prioritization skills.
