Job Title: Senior Technical Business Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our team at Avaloq. As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and processes, evaluating possible scenarios, and recommending best business and IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and processes to identify areas for improvement
  • Evaluate possible scenarios and recommend best business and IT solutions
  • Build and parameterize functionalities to execute and implement business solutions in Avaloq
  • Manage customer issues, interact with clients during testing phase, and take care of bug fixing and potential change requests
  • Support developers during implementation and testing of newly built functionality
  • Prepare reports and project documents concerning new client requirements, ongoing activities, and project status

Requirements:

  • Strong evidence of proven track record in a similar role with good programming and software testing skills
  • Client-orientation and strong communication skills (proficiency in English)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Structured and autonomous approach to work
  • Eager to learn and take on new challenges

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Payments Experience
  • Finance Industry Exposure
  • Prior Programming Experience
  • University or FH degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Mathematics with an affinity and interest for banking/economics or an education in economics with experience and interest in software development or equivalent education/experience
