Restaurant Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the restaurant area meets hygiene and safety standards for each shift.
- Conduct daily briefings for the restaurant team.
- Support the reservations system with the Hosts team.
- Create floor plans based on expected covers.
- Assist the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Manager with food and beverage stock management.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by engaging with customers, addressing complaints, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Support the floor team and provide training, including performance reviews.
- Manage cash handling and daily revenue reporting according to hotel SOPs.
- Oversee service on the floor.
- Ensure the safe opening and closing of the restaurant.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Floor Manager or Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant.
- Familiarity with local employment law and health and safety regulations.
- Fluency in English, with good German knowledge and additional languages an asset.
- A people person with excellent relationship-building skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to new situations.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
