Global Operational Excellence Manager

Connecting Experts is seeking an experienced and results-driven Global Operational Excellence Manager to lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across five key manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of the company's operational excellence strategy across five global manufacturing sites, focusing on the optimization of assembly processes.
  • Develop and sustain Lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Six Sigma) to improve operational efficiency and achieve measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and cost.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and standardization across the sites, drive improvement initiatives, and monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes.
  • Facilitate and lead continuous improvement projects, workshops, and Kaizen events to engage cross-functional teams in operational excellence efforts.
  • Work closely with site managers and production teams to ensure best practices are shared and implemented across all locations.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to site teams on Lean tools, techniques, and problem-solving methods to build internal capability.
  • Drive the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure consistency across all sites.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Implement reporting systems to regularly update senior management on progress towards operational goals and benchmarks.
  • Lead the identification and implementation of cost-saving initiatives, managing both capital and operational expenses (CAPEX & OPEX) in alignment with global business objectives.
  • Be flexible to travel to global sites to ensure operational excellence strategies are aligned and executed effectively.
  • Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment of operational excellence initiatives with overall company goals and industry best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in operational excellence or continuous improvement roles within the industrial manufacturing sector, with a strong focus on assembly processes.
  • Proven experience leading Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, with a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing multi-site operations, driving operational improvements, and achieving measurable business results.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and communication skills to influence and engage stakeholders across multiple sites and regions.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to develop, track, and report on KPIs.
  • Willingness to travel internationally to ensure consistent implementation of operational strategies.
