Role Summary:

The Electromechanical Technician will leverage extensive expertise and field experience to execute a diverse range of technical responsibilities in support of engineering, quality assurance, calibration, manufacturing, and field operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assembly, disassembly, reassembly, repair, and inspection of electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems, including chassis and printed circuit boards.
  • Assisting in the testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and installation of various electronic and electromechanical equipment.
  • Coating surfaces of components and assemblies with protective materials as required.

Location:

This position is based in a European location.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in operating machine tools such as drill presses and grinders.
  • Experience in electronic and mechanical tasks.
  • Ability to interpret schematic drawings and modification documents.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance, with U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Skills:

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • One year of experience in electronic and mechanical tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures.
  • Experience with static sensitive handling techniques.
  • Familiarity with Patriot Major End Items or other air defense systems.
  • Experience in painting and soldering/welding certification.
  • Knowledge of wire wrapping techniques.

Educational Background:

A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience unless otherwise restricted by local regulations.
