About the Role

As a Business Consultant (m/w/d) - Business Support Specialist at ZEISS, you will play a key role in supporting the company's business operations by managing business requirements, designing test cases, and conducting functional end-to-end tests in the SAP S/4HANA system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage (regional/segment-specific) business requirements towards the global template SAP S/4HANA system in local fit-gap analyses under leadership of deputy/hub process owners
  • Data cleansing
  • Design and own test cases and conduct functional end-to-end tests in the SAP S/4HANA system; Support the definition and conduction of functional test cases
  • Actively contribute to the roll-in of assigned roll-in projects in a region (mainly within a segment, and, if deemed necessary by regional hub-lead, also across SBUs/ segments)

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • In-depth understanding of at least one end-to-end business process (Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Engineer-to-Order / Idea-to-Market, Service-to-Customer, Plan-to-­Produce, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report and specialty areas like Quality Management or Master Data Management)
  • Experience with SAP R/3 (and ideally SAP S/4HANA) as well as relevant third-party business systems
  • Excellent conceptual, results-oriented and communication skills
  • Ability to build networks and keenness to work in intercultural and interdisciplinary global team
  • Business fluent in English and German (must have)
