Tax Process Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Process Manager to join our team at tonies - Boxine GmbH. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in shaping our tax strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Steer the optimization, automation, and digitalization of tax processes and tax accounting & reporting for the entire group
  • Drive the implementation of fully digitalized processes using our ERP system and available tools and technology
  • Understand the business in detail and identify stakeholders needed to establish a digitized process
  • Implement templates and controls across all tax-relevant workstreams to roll-out to the entire group
  • Support and enable relevant teams in tax documentation/compliance and reporting obligations
  • Maintain and further improve the Tax Compliance Management System through identification of measures and implementation of controls
  • Develop and implement standards in contract templates, standard clauses, and other consistent tax technical terms and provisions
  • Manage large projects end-to-end, including prioritizing and process optimization to improve efficiency
  • Set up for growth by identifying tax processes needed in the future and ensuring a company-wide understanding of needed processes
Requirements
  • Commercial, IT, and/or tax background with a great understanding of processes, structures, and technology
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the finance/tax department of an international company or same field in an international consultancy
  • Well-versed in the norms of German or foreign tax law and eager to further develop tax technical skill set
  • Strong communication skills, especially with colleagues without a tax background, and determination in implementing processes across different teams
  • Excellent self-organization, high level of commitment, and healthy approach to change and challenges
  • Solution-focused person, taking ownership over actions and fostering a collaborative environment
  • Confident in dealing with MS Navision (our ERP System)
  • Fluent in English; German or other languages are very welcome
