Job Description

Pagateq is a fintech company owned by Deutsche Bank in Germany, specializing in merchant payment processing.

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager to join our team in Bonn, Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate, procure, install, and maintain software applications that meet our organization's needs.
  • Develop and implement processes and protocols for software systems.
  • Ensure flawless integration with existing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
  • Monitor application health, security compliance, and performance.
  • Deliver new and improved capabilities in systems monitoring, recovery, and stability.
Requirements
  • Strong IT background with excellent problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and RestAPIs, Java, JBoss, Oracle, and authentication messages.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude in dynamic IT environments.
  • Fintech background and ability to function as part of an international team.
Language Skills
  • English: B2 Upper Intermediate
  • German: C1 Advanced
