About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our team at JAKALA Germany GmbH. As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and support of our macOS infrastructure and additional equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist new colleagues in the onboarding process by ordering hardware and setting up necessary accounts. Ensure a secure offboarding process and the return of company equipment.
  • Optimize the technical equipment of our workstations and provide expert support to colleagues in your area of expertise.
  • Manage employee accounts, including Google Suite, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and GitLab, as well as software licenses.
  • Contribute to the management of internal networks at our location, including WLAN, VPN, switches, and firewalls, to ensure a seamless network infrastructure.
  • Manage our video conferencing systems, phone systems, printers, and scanners to facilitate efficient communication and document management.
  • In addition to technical support, you will also be responsible for maintaining a physically comfortable office environment, including cabling and installing equipment such as TVs.
Requirements
  • You have a completed education in the IT field, such as a degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • You bring experience in administering and maintaining IT infrastructure.
  • You have knowledge and experience with Mac / macOS and our tool landscape, including Google Suite, Slack, Jira, Confluence, and GitLab.
  • Integrity and a deep understanding of security are essential for this role.
  • You possess excellent written and spoken German and communicate confidently in English.
  • Nice to have: You are a certified safety officer for workplace safety.
