Electronics Laboratory Leader

At Elco Heating Solutions, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Laboratory Leader to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for leading a small local team in the lab test of control products.

As a Laboratory Leader, you will be responsible for the development and test of controllers for the safe and effective operation of heating systems such as heat pump, solar, gas, and oil systems. You will also be responsible for the verification of control functionalities, setup, implementation, and documentation of lab tests, approval tests, and functional tests of prototypes.

Key qualifications for this role include a degree in Electrical and Control Engineering or similar qualifications, previous experience in development and/or test of electronic devices (7-10 years), preferably in the field of building energy systems, and experience in leading a professional team is a plus.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Development and test of controllers for the safe and effective operation of heating systems
  • Verification of control functionalities
  • Setup, implementation, and documentation of lab tests
  • Approval tests and functional tests of prototypes
  • Support field tests in control and electrical engineering areas
