About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in designing and developing custom software solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions using SAP S/4 HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP)
  • Work closely with internal colleagues, partners, and customer teams to ensure successful project completion
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and specify business requirements gathered in customer workshops
  • Implement and maintain software solutions, ensuring compliance with development standards and methodologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to improve software solutions

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in design and development on SAP S/4 HANA or BTP
  • Proficiency in either React development or full-stack ABAP technologies (CDS, Gateway, CAP, UI5, Fiori Elements)
  • Experience in implementing GenAI and/or Machine Learning use cases
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience in customer interaction, such as customer workshops or technical management of customer escalations
  • Experience in at least one industry, such as Finance or Automotive/Logistics, is a plus
  • Research experience (e.g. PhD study) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Compliance with development standards and methodologies (Scrum, quality, security, performance)
  • Self-motivating style of working combined with a continuous learning mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in German and English
