About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chemical Process Safety Specialist to join our team at Siegfried's Minden facility. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires expertise in chemical process safety, with a focus on ensuring the safe operation of our facilities.

Job Description

As a Chemical Process Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing safety procedures and protocols to ensure the safe operation of our facilities;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks;
  • Conducting hazard assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies;
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards;
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols;
  • Supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as chemical engineering, chemistry, or a related discipline;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of chemical process safety principles and regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Location

This role is based in Minden, Germany, with regular travel to other sites and conferences as required.
