As a Category Buyer Facility Management Services, you will be responsible for implementing and improving the procurement strategy for a specific service/category across General Procurement scope.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, establish, and implement trans-divisional frame contracts (Master Service Agreements/Work Package Agreements) in accordance with the respective categories and strategies.
- Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering process, and negotiate contracts to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with Company requirements.
- Drive contract management and monitor the contract with suppliers and company stakeholders to ensure the complete application of terms and conditions.
- Manage day-to-day relationships with suppliers and internal customers to optimize customer value while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team throughout the tendering, contracting, and contract life cycle phases.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills to various audiences, including top management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and facilitation skills.
- High level of integrity and analytical skills.
- Negotiation skills and willingness to travel (limited travel within Europe).
Qualifications:
- Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, or Facility Management background with a Master's degree.
- Commercial/Facility Management experience with 2-5 years of related experience.
- Procurement experience with 2 years.
IT Skills:
- MS Office skills with detailed knowledge.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
Language Skills:
- German and English with a minimum of business fluency.
