For our client in the aerospace industry, we are seeking a motivated candidate for the position of Category Buyer Facility Management Services in Taufkirchen, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and improving the procurement strategy for a certain service/category across General Procurement scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate, establish, implement, and regularly review trans-divisional frame contracts (Master Service Agreements / Work Package Agreements) in the framework of the respective categories & strategies.
  • Contribute to the sourcing activity, manage the tendering, and the contract negotiation to achieve the best purchasing conditions in accordance with Company requirements (Internal - External) for the related Facility Service.
  • Drive contract management and monitor the contract with suppliers and company stakeholders (internal customer) to achieve throughout the contract life cycle a complete application of terms and conditions to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions (Time, Quality, Cost, Innovation, KPI).
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with suppliers and internal customers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership & risks.
  • Be part of a multidisciplinary team all along the tendering, contracting, and contract life cycle phases.

Requirements:

  • Good communication to various audiences including top management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English) and facilitation skills.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel (limited travel within Europe).

Qualification:

  • Industrial Engineer, Business administration, or Facility Mgt mind. Master degree.

Professional Experience:

  • Commercial / facility management 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Procurement mind. 2 years.

IT Skills:

  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) mind. detailed Special knowledge.
  • SAP knowledge would be a plus.

Language Skills:

  • German and English min. business fluent.
