Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Consultant to collaborate with business professionals, project stakeholders, and solution delivery teams to specify, design, implement, test, document, and deliver PSImetals solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish a dependable partnership with clients, fostering a relationship built on trust.
  • Enhance your expertise to effectively advise and design customer production processes and system landscapes.
  • Conduct customer workshops, presentations, and training sessions focused on specific PSImetals modules.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, with a strong command of German and excellent presentation abilities.
  • Able to work from designated offices.
  • Technical or mathematical degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experienced in programming languages and system development, with readiness to engage in coding tasks (Java, Python, PL/SQL, JavaScript, or Angular/TypeScript).
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work on-site with clients.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a strong sense of empathy.
  • Eagerness to learn new areas and stay updated with industry innovations.

Desirable:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Experience with MES, ERP, L2 systems, and Oracle databases is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of planning and scheduling systems, logistics, or supply chain management within the metals industry is a plus, although any industrial experience is valued.
