Financial Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our Group Finance team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and quarterly reports in accordance with IFRS
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Group forecast and planning
  • Process and analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support reporting and analysis
Requirements:
  • University degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in group accounting, preferably with an insurer or financial institution
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software
