Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team and shape the future of our product. As a Senior Product Designer, you will be responsible for the future look and feel of our application, developing and enhancing our design system, and maintaining consistency across all user interfaces and interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop the user interface and user experience of our application
  • Develop and enhance our design system, drawing inspiration from existing UI while improving legacy components using Angular Material
  • Maintain consistency across all user interfaces and interactions by managing our design system
  • Collaborate with our Product Owners and Front-end Developers to build a comprehensive component library
  • Conceptualize and create design guidelines
  • Lead and own the end-to-end design process from concept to completion, together with our UX Researcher and UX Writer
  • Work within the product team to conceptualize and develop new features in our software
Requirements
  • A degree in UX/UI (e.g., interface design, communication design, human-computer interaction) or a comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in UX design, interface and interaction design, as well as experience in developing and applying complex design systems for digital products for enterprise software
  • Proficient in common tools for creating digital user interfaces, especially Figma
  • Experience collaborating with front-end teams and knowledge of front-end languages (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Experience in managing legacy software
  • Confident in UX roles, comfortable both as a mentor and in operational work
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in both German and English
