We offer a competitive salary package, with an estimated annual compensation of €60,000 - €80,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ops Engineer to join our team as a key member of our infrastructure operations team. This role will be responsible for designing, creating, operating, and maintaining Public Cloud components for our services and databases.

You will work closely with our development and architecture teams to create solutions for a hybrid IT architecture, migrate existing services, and create new services on Public Cloud providers (primarily AWS). Additionally, you will establish a comprehensive monitoring and alerting system, optimize resources/services and costs, and maintain on-premise infrastructure like servers and network switches.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in provisioning, monitoring, and operating infrastructure in AWS and hybrid environments
  • At least one successful established project in AWS Cloud in your near past
  • Strong knowledge of maintaining Linux systems and services and/or network devices in on-premise environments
  • Good knowledge of Linux and a profound understanding of network protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP
  • Experience in using Terraform (and Terragrunt desirable)
  • A 'Team player' attitude and willingness to become an ops expert in a Scrum development team
  • Good English Skills, because this is our team language
  • Desirable: organizational Information security skills (NIS-2, ISO-27001)
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Azure and GCP provisioning & experience in Kubernetes
